As individual changes go, they are minor, however, when you add them up and use them again, or for the first time, they are AWESOME! I was so excited to receive them again not knowing the adjustments to the details you made. From the wire/cord thickness (or thinness) to the reduction of one holding bead to the case in which they can be stored.

I am once again happy that I researched your product and made the investment as the product is second to none. This would also include the customer service … you just don’t get that kind of service anymore. It seems you are the only company willing to stand behind your product. Other companies should take note and try to keep up, after all the best form of flattery is duplication of the original … and although they will try, they will never succeed.

I have attached a photo of me from the Cleveland Rite Aid Marathon from this past May. I am at mile 23 and a huge blood blister just exploded on my left foot … explains the look on my face. Please feel free to post my comments above and the photo on your website as I believe this is the best kept secret product.

I went to your website a few months back and read about the Earhogs and some of the reviews and decided to try them out. I was looking to replace my similarly priced Skull Candy headphones that I had grown quite unhappy with. 4 months later, I can say that these Squealers are the best in-ear headphones that I’ve ever owned.

I use them at the gym and when I run. For all that they get used, they’re still in great shape and working like the day I got them – this has to be one of the reasons I like them so much. Seems these days that a lot of things you buy don’t seem to hold up like they used to in our “Throw away” society as some call it. These certainly don’t fall into that category.

I NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH (OTHER EARBUDS) DIDN’T MEET MY NEEDS UNTIL USING EARHOG™ EAR BUDS.

“The feedback is based upon my journal notes of days past using your product. I use my iPod and ear buds for just about everything I do … I use them when cutting the grass, shoveling snow, and working in the yard in general. I have also used them while I am working around the house doing chores, painting rooms and even washing the car or motorcycle. They are never far from me when I’m on a flight or just sitting outside enjoying the day, especially when I’m out for the day’s run, so as you can tell, they are a big part of my daily routines.

When I first started looking for a set of ear buds to replace the ones that I had been using, I was skeptical to purchase something over the web for the sole fact that I couldn’t try them out or hear the sound or talk to someone in person. Looking back, I realize now, that I wouldn’t be able to do any of those things locally … during my research, no one I spoke to had a product they believed in. No one had a product that met my own needs or a desire to sell me a product that did meet my needs. The other products I have used seemed to work with all their downsides, however, I never knew how much they didn’t meet my needs until using the Earhog™ ear buds.

Upon finding your website, I noticed one thing that very apparent and important to me … the product was focused on active people with active lifestyles. And let’s be straight here, when I say active, I’m specifically talking about people who are out there doing activities such as running. This suited me well as I am a runner and run different distances from 5K runs to a full marathon and all the training in between, and let’s face it, there’s more miles that go into training for a marathon that the actual running of a marathon.

The Earhog™ ear buds stay in place no matter what my pace of running is or activity I am conducting. The fit is snug enough to be comfortable and does not let any outside noises in through misfits when it’s placed in my ear. The first time I placed the Earhog™ in my ears, I was blown away by the sound (in fact, I opened the package so careful because I thought I would be sending them back, I wanted to ensure they were returned properly).

I was still skeptical and unsure of the sound quality matching what I had grown use to with other ear buds. As time has elapsed, I have determined the sound is better than the Sony® brand of ear buds I had been using prior to the Earhog™. In addition to the sound and fit that blew me away, the 56 inches of cord and the Stay Put Cord design allowed me to get rid of my safety pins I had been using to hold the old ear buds in place better.

With the Stay Put Cord design, I use the illustrated methods shown to keep them in place and enjoy the freedom and security it brings. The cord itself is an under rated feature. The cotton wrapped cord doesn’t tangle as traditional cords and lends itself to a higher quality product. The additional options in ear bud covers allows for the perfect fit and personalization.

As a runner, I can’t imagine going back to another product after having used the Earhogs™! The price is comparable to any other ear bud on the market and in reality, you are getting so much more with the Earhog™. It’s okay to hog the sound, so why not buy the best for yourself?!

I am a huge fan of your product and believe that this is a kept secret … which I plan on letting out of the box with everyone I talk to.”

I ALMOST HATED MY EARHOGS

NOW THEY’RE ‘WORKING OUT’ GREAT!

I love my Earhogs™, but to be honest, after I first purchased them I hated them, because I didn’t custom fit the headphone covers to my ears. I finally spent the time to find the set of covers that fit my ears and now they fit perfectly. (Earhogs™ come with 5 different sizes in all, foam and silicone)

Before we spent the time to find the headphone covers that fit and utilized the adjustment sliders, they just felt bulky.

We finally tried the different size covers and found the large foam ones that fit my ears perfectly. I also moved the adjustment sliders, one behind my neck, and put them over my head like in the diagram. So after actually spending the time to unpackage everything, I found the bud covers that fit my ears well. Now I am extremely happy with the fit. My wife also likes them and I actually look forward to wearing Earhogs when I work out.

While working out I’m always taking one out, but because of the around-the-neck cord design, it’s always there on my shoulder and not hanging down and getting tangled in my arms. Now it’s really easy to grab the bud and put it back in my ear.

The cotton wrapped cord is really nice because it doesn’t get tangled into knots. Also wires don’t tend to short out as with other brands I’ve used. I wear my iPod on my arm while working out. With Earhogs™ the angle jack doesn’t’ stick down into my arm, bend the wire and short out like other earbuds. I often have people at the gym ask me where they can get a pair.

Two weak spots I always noticed with other headphones is that the jack is always getting bent back and the wires always break going into the earbud part because of the thin wire. I used to go through a least two pairs of headphones a year.

The sound of the Squealers is fantastic and I love the volume control on the wire so I don’t have to fumble grabbing for my iPod.

Initially, I was concerned about the extra cost from cheap earbuds but will gladly pay the extra 10 to 20 bucks next time. If I hadn’t tried them I might not have picked them. But with the unique cord style, jack and volume control its well worth the extra cost. I will definitely buy Earhogs again if these wear out.
